My dear Dea got a foot-ache ( read more in her livejournal about it, and her ordeals in my parents humble abode ), so I had to go back to Bergen all alone, since I have to work. You know, that overrated stuff everyone’s so keen on me doing *grins* The day was pretty straigtforward and uneventful ( sorry, you whom I was with, but it was a boring day <.< ( On a side-note I think I finally found the perfect excuse to use whom ) ). The next day there again was pretty cool, the kid I was with is a genuinely cool guy, and alot of fun to spend time with, so it wasn’t anything but fun \o/ though there was alot of running, some jogging, and alot of sweating done. I even had to take a shower halfways through my shift at work because … in any case, it was nasty. Way too much high-energy activity there.
Then came the third day. A day filled with my 1 hour sleep looming behind in the horizon, and we went to Akvariet i Bergen, a place I haven’t been in for ages. I think I was there last time when I was 8, perhaps younger. I didn’t remember anything from the place at all. They had a spider/creepy section there, which I don’t think has anything to do with aquariums, but who am I to argue with their pretty fabulous way of doing things. There was quite alot of people there, on a weekday, so I’m assuming it’s actually maintaining that traffic for a major part of the year. Atleast I’m gonna hope so, because it looked to be a pretty great place, atleast for the younger kids. I think I saw three different groups of kids running around gawking and squealing at the sights ( and there was alot of scared little kids around the spiders, which was hilarious ) in the first 30 minutes alone. There just kept coming more and more of them, the kids that is, pesky creatures!
Then we watched the seals get fed ( we missed the feeding of the penguins because there were so many people there, basically blocking access for wheel-chair users ), which was fun, in a sad way. Poor buggers are trained to do tricks to get food, which makes me reflect on how we need to do tricks to get food as well. Then I thought about how easy it’d be to be a seal, though they’re basically locked away in an underwater prison. Sad stuff, but when I shrugged those thoughts off I realized I really enjoyed the show. The wonders of pushing stuff away.
So I slept for about 1 hour tonight, and I’m tired, yes. Really, really tired. Actually, the worst part is my foot-soles which are thrumming to the beat of the music, or my heartbeat. I’m not quite sure yet, but it’s an interesting, yet undesired feeling. Got back after work, did some shopping ( and all that, yadi yadi ya – except the part where we bought food and stuff at a place with some stupidly cheap food :O ), and then I hit the sack for an hour. Felt a little bit better when I woke up, atleast not as hot as I was during the day, and not half as weary.
I have a theory though, something that struck me the other day: If I sleep comfortably, I will have trouble getting up, and I’m not entirely sure I’m sleeping well either/or comfortable at all. If I sleep really uncomfortably I won’t be able to sleep, or might fall alseep eventually from exhaustion. In either case I won’t sleep particularly well! I’ve been sleeping fairly well at Daniel’s place, on a moderately comfortable bed, and I have little to no trouble getting up in the morning, even though I’ve slept only 1 hour O.O
Right, I know there was more I was about to write, but I don’t remember at the moment. For later then.
[Edit] Oh, and I finally figured out why the Linux-distribution was called Gentoo *grins*
Tired. I mean wow… tired.
