It appears that up to 12 different studies, double blind studies at that, have determined that sugar does not alter their behaviour, even if the children have ADHD. What they did discover, however, was that the parents rated their children as more hyperactive due to the sugar. It was all in the parents minds. As a small observation from me; the parents were probably by proxy changing the children’s behaviour as well.

So think about it, the next time you want to stop your kids from eating sugar, are you doing it for the right reasons? It’s better to focus on feeding your kids healthy food as to avoid them turning into humongous lard-buckets.
